Custom Window Seat & Bench Cushions in Sydney
Made for the exact opening, the joinery beneath it and the way the seat will actually be used.

Fit first
Joinery is rarely as simple as one width and one depth.
Bay angles, splayed walls, out-of-square corners, window hardware and removable access panels all affect the finished template. A cushion that is slightly too large bows; one that is too small makes the gap the most visible detail.
We measure the actual seat and consider where the cushion should finish against architraves, walls and adjacent cabinetry.

Comfort & proportion
Thickness should suit both the body and the window.
Seat height, depth, intended use and the visual weight of the joinery inform the finished thickness. Back cushions, bolsters or scatter cushions are added only where they improve the way the seat works.

Window coordination
The blind and the seat need to clear one another.
A Roman blind or curtain beside a window seat needs enough space to operate and stack without dragging across the cushion. Measuring both during one visit lets the window treatment and seating finish as one composition.

Material, fit and finished context are considered as one brief.
Useful questions
Before the fabric is confirmed.
Can you measure an irregular window seat?
Yes. Angles and fixed architectural conditions are recorded at the seat; the final approach depends on access, shape and the construction being quoted.
Can the cushion coordinate with a Roman blind?
Yes. Fabric can coordinate through tone, texture or pattern while the physical relationship between the blind, glass and seat is checked.
Can removable covers be considered?
Cover construction and care are discussed according to the selected textile and intended use. The final specification is confirmed before ordering.
