Curtains & blinds for Hills District.

Whole-home coordination for family living, larger glazing and staged renovations, with different control needs resolved in each room.

Start power and access planning before finishes are complete.

A high window or long curtain track can make motorisation valuable. Decide where power, charging and local controls will be accessed before the ceiling is closed. A recessed curtain pocket also needs adequate width, track separation and a way to service the hardware.

A large family room may need daytime glare control rather than darkness, while adjacent bedrooms call for stronger coverage. Prepare a window schedule with the use, orientation, fabric, lining and control for each opening. This is particularly useful when the project is installed in stages.

Make the site visit useful.

Send a photograph of each opening and a wider view showing the surrounding wall, ceiling and furniture. Describe when the problem is most noticeable: afternoon glare, night-time overlooking, difficult reach or sleep disruption.

CCBD will work through the fabric, lining, fitting position and control as one specification. Site measurements and hardware suitability are confirmed before manufacture. We do not assume every home in the area needs the same product.

  • Identify each window consistently across photographs and plans.
  • Note any planned flooring, ceiling work or electrical changes.
  • Tell us about building access and any restrictions that need checking.

Before you decide

Questions & answers

Should I order from my own measurements?

Your approximate dimensions help an initial discussion, but the final order needs verified measurements, hardware allowances and installation details. Fabric or system size is not simply the glass dimension.

Can different rooms use different products?

Yes. A coordinated scheme can use curtains at wide doors, Romans at smaller windows and rollers or shutters where their operation suits the room. The palette and visible detailing can connect the different treatments.
