A large patterned cloth may need centring across a Roman face, while the same fabric in curtains requires repeat allowances and planned seam positions. Where windows sit side by side, compare their finished stacks and alignment before approving the making schedule.
A new extension may require a different treatment from the original rooms. Check how a full-height curtain meets an older cornice and whether the stack can sit outside the door opening. In shaded rooms, choose privacy and lining deliberately rather than adding unnecessary weight to an already dark space.
Make the site visit useful.
Send a photograph of each opening and a wider view showing the surrounding wall, ceiling and furniture. Describe when the problem is most noticeable: afternoon glare, night-time overlooking, difficult reach or sleep disruption.

Should I order from my own measurements?
Your approximate dimensions help an initial discussion, but the final order needs verified measurements, hardware allowances and installation details. Fabric or system size is not simply the glass dimension.
Can different rooms use different products?
Yes. A coordinated scheme can use curtains at wide doors, Romans at smaller windows and rollers or shutters where their operation suits the room. The palette and visible detailing can connect the different treatments.
